The Starka Group is one of the leading companies in the market for prefabricated concrete products. The parent company is Starka AB, and the group includes two companies located in four locations: Lund (office with 12 employees), Kristianstad (where Starka Betongelement AB has its production and 135 employees), Ängelholm (Starka Betongprodukter with 16 employees), and a production facility in Arboga (for Starka Betongelement with 60 employees).
Starka is an independent privately owned company in its third generation that manufactures and sells prefabricated concrete products. We have specialized expertise and modern resources for the development and manufacturing of concrete elements, retaining walls, and site completion. We are proud of our history and our material.

We are now recruiting a new internal sales representative for Starka Betongprodukter. As an internal sales representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a stable and well-respected company that is at the forefront of retaining walls and site completions, where our products are used in community-building projects. The business is characterized by high quality, sustainable production, technical expertise, and close customer relationships. You will be part of an engaged team of about 16 people in Ängelholm, with 6 in the office and 10 in production, where everyone works closely together and helps each other in daily tasks. Responsibilities as an internal sales representative
In the role of Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling, quoting, and following up on Starka's products and solutions in accordance with the company's business plan, sales budget, and profitability goals. You will be the contact person for your customers and work proactively to develop business by maintaining close dialogue, identifying needs early, and creating opportunities with both existing and new customers. The role involves a lot of collaboration with technical salespeople, logistics, and production, while you also have significant responsibility for your customers and the opportunity to drive your own business. In the long run, you will also have the opportunity to learn how to quantity, which means reading drawings, calculating volumes, and creating complete documentation for technical quotes. You will report to the CEO, Fredrik Johansson.
Your tasks:
- Work proactively with both existing and new customers through regular contact, follow-up, and identification of new business opportunities/interesting projects
- Receive and finalize orders and quote requests, prepare quotes based on the customer's projects and needs, and ensure that the customer receives the best possible technical solution.
- Collaborate with production and logistics to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective transportation
- Drive sales campaigns and administrative tasks, such as price lists, updates, mailings, and work in digital planning tools and CRM systems.
- In the long run, you will have the opportunity to learn how to quantity and use Starka's calculation models to prepare documentation for quotes.
- Draw simple documentation in AutoCAD 2D (desirable but not required).
Experience and knowledge
- Experience in customer contact, order administration, or internal sales, preferably from the building materials trade, contracting, industry, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with proactive customer engagement, follow-up, and relationship-building sales.
- Interest in technology and the ability to understand products, drawings, and projects.
- Good administrative skills, structure, and experience working in business systems, CRM, and digital planning tools.
- Desirable to have knowledge of AutoCAD 2D or similar drawing programs.
- Ability to prioritize and drive customer projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
