Do you want to make a difference in a growing organization? Aleo Omsorg is looking for 1-2 team leaders for home care in Åkersberga (Österåker municipality). You will work closely with customers, support staff, and relieve the unit manager.

As a team leader, you are a central part of the daily operations, with both practical work and some administration. We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant and want to take the next step in responsibility and leadership.

Job Responsibilities - What will you do?

Your responsibilities as a team leader include, among other things:

  • Work leadership & daily support – you support employees in their daily work, answer questions, and provide a reassuring presence in the team.

  • Practical care work – you work out in the field with customers together with other staff and ensure high quality in the services provided.

  • Planning & initiation of services – you assist in the initiation of new customers and ensure that needs are met from the start.

  • Documentation & administration – you handle ongoing documentation, simpler follow-ups, and support the unit manager with administrative tasks.

  • Quality & work environment – you contribute to routines, structure, and a safe work environment in the team.

  • Team culture & cohesion – you are a role model in interaction, communication, and collaboration.

  • Emergency alarms – quickly respond to urgent needs from customers who have triggered an alarm. We work on behalf of Österåker municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

Who are you?

To fit in with us, we see that you have the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Nursing assistant education (meritorious) – trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title and preferably with experience in home care.

  • Experience in a supervisory or coordinating role - you have previous experience in leading and distributing work and planning interventions based on government decisions. 

  • Supportive, unpretentious & communicative – you are there for colleagues, create a good work culture, and are confident in dialogue with employees, customers, and relatives.

  • Stress-resistant, responsible & present – you handle pressured situations calmly, take responsibility, make confident decisions, and are actively present in your work.

  • Solution-oriented & flexible – you act when needed, find ways forward even when there is a lot to do, and switch smoothly between practical work and administration.

  • Digitally skilled – you have experience working with mobile phones and documentation in digital systems.

  • Driving license B (requirement) – you are an experienced driver and can navigate well in traffic to visit our customers in their homes.

  • Fluent in Swedish – you master Swedish both in speech and writing and have the ability to document professionally.

Working hours and employment form

Service: Monday–Friday and possible weekends based on the needs of the business (including public holidays). Working hours: daytime 07:00 - 15:30. Extent: full-time, 37 hours/week. Workplace: Åkersberga (Österåker municipality). Employment form: permanent with a 6-month probationary period, with start date according to agreement.
