ST Dentist in Highly Specialized Oral Surgery

About the position

ME Plastic Surgery and Oral Surgery is currently the only hospital-based oral surgical practice in the Stockholm Region. Our focus is on highly specialized oral surgical care that requires the hospital's resources, which means a large catchment area and a broad treatment panorama.

We are now looking for a full-time ST dentist with a training appointment of four years, for obtaining specialist qualification in oral surgery.

The service is carried out in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's common regulations (HSLF-FS 2017:77) regarding specialization training for dentists.

Parts of the training are conducted in collaboration with the Public Dental Service in the Stockholm Region's Specialist Dental Clinics at the Eastman Institute.

Start date 2026-09-01 or by agreement.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed dentist with a dental license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare
• At least two years of documented full-time general practice, including both pediatric and adult dental care
• Experience from service in specialties
• Registered in Stockholm County or Gotland by the application deadline.

For the appointment, strict merit evaluation will be applied in accordance with the guidelines of Sweden's Municipalities and Regions for national ST positions.

Meritorious:

• Experience from specialist care or oral surgical work.
