Pumpteknik is now looking for a business-driven product manager salesperson who wants to help develop our air/vacuum business area in Sweden.

About the role

As the product manager salesperson for our air and vacuum range, you will play a key role in developing the business together with both customers and suppliers. You will be responsible for sales, technical advice, and business development within your product area, and you will represent some of the industry's most reputable suppliers of vacuum pumps, fans, and complete air/vacuum solutions.

Our customers are found within municipalities and industries where our solutions are used for, for example, aeration, pneumatic transport, process control, and creating vacuum in advanced production environments.

Your responsibilities

  • Sell and develop the business within air/vacuum – from prospect to satisfied customer.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Act as a link between suppliers and the Swedish market.
  • Take responsibility for budget, results, and technical development within the area.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a combination of technical interest, curiosity, and business drive. You thrive in an independent role where you have significant freedom to influence the business and develop your product area.

You have experience from:

  • sales to process industry or manufacturing industry
  • technical products such as vacuum pumps, fans, compressors, industrial products, or related technology areas

To succeed in the role, you need to:

  • have strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • be relationship-building and confident in customer dialogues
  • be able to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English
  • be comfortable with IT systems, CRM, and digital tools

Travel and location

The position involves travel within Sweden, a B driver's license is required, as well as a few international supplier visits per year. Expect a number of travel days each month and some overnight stays.

Location: Gothenburg (first choice) – other locations can be discussed.
