Do you want to work at ICA's warehouse in Borlänge? We are looking for someone who currently has another occupation (work/studies) and wants to work extra. Please read through the entire ad to see what is required in the different stages of the recruitment process.

In the role of forklift driver/warehouse employee at ICA's warehouse in Borlänge, your main tasks will involve operating a forklift and picking goods by hand using a voice unit that instructs you on what to pick. The tasks are physically demanding and characterized by a high work pace where you work in different temperature zones.

To be considered for the position, you need to be very flexible in your availability and be able to work at least 2-3 weekdays a week, distributed over day/evening, with weekends in addition. ICA operates its warehouse around the clock every day of the week. During peak season, such as summer, the demand increases, and it is important to be prepared to work more. We are looking for someone who sees this as a long-term extra job. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Student Consulting but will be hired out to our client ICA.

Your introduction starts on Tuesday (the first week) with theoretical forklift training, followed by practical driving on Thursday. Training with your mentor continues directly the following week from Monday to Friday (the second week) and requires 100% attendance. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are available full-time during your mentoring week. Immediately after completing the training, you are expected to start your work with the requirement of 2-3 shifts a week, weekends in addition. This creates good conditions for getting into the job as quickly and safely as possible.

The introduction starts continuously between weeks 5 to 10 according to the information above.

Furthermore, you need to have:

• Work or studies of at least 50% and have at least one year left in your studies: This needs to be verified with a certificate.
• Good physical condition.
• Approved criminal record check.
• Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Forklift license A1-4 and driving experience.
• B driver's license and access to your own car to quickly get to the workplace.

We will request an extract from the criminal record as well as perform a drug test as part of the process. ICA aims to have smoke-free workplaces. The working environment at ICA's workplaces should be sober and free from drugs, and therefore ICA applies random alcohol and drug tests.
