About the assignment

Vamas plays an important role in the municipality's long-term development. We have a significant responsibility to ensure good public service and a sustainable environment. As a vehicle driver with us, you will drive a truck with a crane and trailer and work with the transport and collection of waste in a safe and efficient manner. The work is varied and includes several parts of waste management and recycling. Your base location is Malung, but you may also support other collection areas as needed. You will be part of a dedicated team that drives and develops our waste management service together.

Your tasks include:

Driving a truck with a crane and trailer.
Transporting waste between our recycling centers and to external facilities.
Collecting and transporting waste from our recycling stations.
Moving and handling containers.
Customer contact.
Daily supervision and safe handling of vehicles and equipment.
Opportunity to learn about various recycling processes and techniques.
Participating in the development of operations and routines.

We are looking for someone who:

Is practical.
Flexible, reliable, and structured.
A problem solver and service-oriented.
Has a CE driving license and YKB.
Has a digital driver card.
Has a professional certificate for vehicle-mounted cranes over 18 ton-meters.
Has a driving license for wheel loaders.
Has good computer skills.

It is a merit if you:

Have experience driving trucks with cranes.
Have experience driving waste vehicles, such as side loaders and rear loaders.
Have ADR certification and work on the road.

Other

We are continuously working on selection for interviews. This means that the position may be filled before the application deadline, which is 2026-02-27. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month initial probation period. Start date according to agreement.
