Truck Driver for Traffic and Land, Falu Municipality

The Environmental and Community Building Administration works with the municipality's physical development – both in the city and in the rural areas of the municipality. Together we have a broad competence, and the assignments provide exciting challenges that are carried out in collaboration with our decision-making politicians.

The Traffic and Land Department, which is part of the Environmental and Community Building Administration, works with the municipality's physical design. The department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's land, from forests and parks to roads and squares.

We are now looking for a skilled, structured, and solution-oriented truck driver who wants to contribute to a well-functioning operational activity. You will be given the opportunity to take responsibility and influence how the work is planned and executed.

Job Responsibilities

The work primarily consists of:

• Winter road maintenance with on-call duty.
• Plowing, sanding, and salting of municipal roads.
• Transport of materials within the municipality.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• C driver's license with professional certificate
• Experience in winter road maintenance in a municipal environment
• Good computer skills
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work requires following instructions and safety regulations.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is structured, self-driven, and has a good ability to take responsibility for their tasks. You work efficiently without compromising quality and have an interest in technology and development.

Desirable Qualifications

• CE driver's license
• Cranes license
• Training in Work on Roads

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start as soon as possible or by agreement.

On-call duty is included during the winter period.
