Production Planner for Exciting Assignment in Uppsala

We are now looking for a Production Planner who wants to contribute to optimizing flows and creating conditions for high delivery precision for our client in Uppsala.

About the Position

As a Production Planner, you will be a key person in our client’s supply chain department, responsible for production planning, raw material purchasing, and distribution. Your main task is to create and follow up on production plans for all production lines - in line with demand and capacity.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Design and maintain production plans that ensure the right balance between demand and capacity
• Create and update production orders in SAP according to production plans
• Develop annual plans and scenario planning to meet future needs
• Initiate capacity adjustments as needed and act proactively
• Coordinate and communicate production plans with internal departments weekly
• Monitor production output, lead times, and inventory levels and escalate deviations
• Support the creation of volume and inventory plans for the annual budgeting process
• Drive improvement initiatives to optimize planning processes
• Act as backup for purchasers/planners as needed and serve as SAP superuser

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the pharmaceutical/medicinal industry
• Relevant university degree
• Experience with ERP systems, primarily SAP
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
