Are you a flexible mechanic with a passion for problem-solving and maintenance of machines and vehicles? We are now looking for a mechanic for our client in Södertälje who wants to help ensure that the facility's property, machinery, and vehicles are in top condition.

About the role: As a service technician, you will play a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring that everything from machines to the facility's equipment operates optimally. You will also be responsible for keeping order in the storerooms and ensuring that all spare parts and supplies are available.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Daily supervision of machines and vehicles as well as reporting and escalation when necessary.
• Responsible for inventory management and ensuring that order and tidiness are maintained.
• Control and ordering of spare parts.
• Ongoing maintenance of machines and vehicles, including planning and executing long-term maintenance.
• Perform initial response in case of machine breakdown and contact external suppliers if necessary.
• Participate in internal audits and inspections of the facility's equipment and facilities.
• Guide and train operators and drivers in handling and maintaining machines and vehicles.
• Responsible for cleanliness in the premises and snow removal on the site.

Competence requirements:

• Valid driving licenses for all vehicles and equipment within the facility, forklift licenses A, B, C2, lift licenses, and cleaning machine licenses.
• Experience in welding and holding Hot Work training.
• Good knowledge of machine maintenance and the ability to solve technical problems.
• Experience working with recycling and handling scrap material.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is structured and responsible with the ability to work independently.
• Has good communication skills and enjoys guiding and training colleagues.
• Is flexible and can take on both planned and urgent tasks.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in property and park maintenance is a plus.
