The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse in the emergency department, you have a holistic view of the patient and participate in assessing their need for care and treatment. You are responsible for nursing, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding acutely ill patients of varying ages and with different medical, surgical, urological, or orthopedic conditions. We want the patient to be involved in their care. This means that information is a very important part of your work. We work in teams with different professions, and together with other staff, you work to provide good and safe care and a professional approach to the patient. As a nurse, you lead and distribute the work in the team.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. With us, you will work three shifts: days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Start date is according to agreement.

Your Future Workplace

The emergency clinic handles acute medical conditions and accidents that cannot be managed at the health center. We are open around the clock, every day of the year. Our operations have a broad and varied mission in close collaboration with other clinics in the hospital. Everything from individual patient encounters to being an actor in the hospital's disaster organization. About 50 people work at our clinic.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of experience and preferably in emergency care. If you have specialist training in emergency care, we see it as a positive. We are looking for someone who wants to gain a broader scope in their nursing profession and is ready for new challenges.

If you enjoy fast-paced work, great variation in tasks, and want to develop in your professional role, you will thrive with us! As an employee in the emergency department, you work independently with great personal responsibility and have the ability to make quick decisions. For you to succeed and thrive in your new role, we also see that you are stable and controlled in stressful situations and have the ability to remain calm in acute situations.
