We are looking for a nursing assistant at Breared Varberg for day, evening, and weekend shifts, permanent employment 75-80%. We offer training and several benefits.

About Breared

The nursing home is located in Breared, a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Varberg, near Apelviken. Vardaga has been operating Breared under contract since 2008 for Varberg Municipality with 92 places, focusing on dementia and somatic care. •  We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and care through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.

•  We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.

•  You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important.
