Care Assistant at the Home Care Administration

The department works with quality development, innovation, digitization, process management, and there are roles such as digitalization strategist, development leader, and welfare technician.

Your Responsibilities

In our work, we start from each customer's individual needs and wishes to create good and close care and support.

Examples of tasks include assisting customers with hygiene, dressing, medication handover, and various medical treatments delegated by a nurse. Rehabilitation training is performed under the delegation of licensed rehabilitation personnel. The tasks vary depending on which department the work is performed in.

The main task of the short-term unit is to receive patients who have been treated in the hospital but are not yet ready to move home or to special accommodation. We base our work on the customer's needs and compile a plan that is followed to ensure the best possible care for the customer. To perform the task, collaboration within the workgroup is essential. The workgroup consists of care assistants, licensed personnel such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as coordinators.

The position includes night shifts based on the assumption that conditions or requirements do not change.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, preferably with specialization in palliative care, dementia care, or rehabilitation. You are responsible for working person-centered with the customer in focus and have experience in performing various delegated tasks from the responsible nurse.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, and you use various digital systems fluently to document in our document management system according to current legislation.

You use and learn to handle the technical aids required for the job.

You are a confident person with an open mind and the ability to put the customer at the center. You have good collaboration skills, both with customers, relatives, and colleagues in the workgroup as well as with partners.

You create team spirit, work proactively for a good work climate, and contribute to the work of the workgroup to provide residents with good care and support of high quality. All according to the values of trust, respect, and humility.

The work as a care assistant at night requires that you can take initiative, take responsibility, and work independently.
