We are looking for a road construction manager (civil engineering) for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consulting assignment that can be carried out from the Transport Administration's offices in Gothenburg or Trollhättan.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

The assignment concerns a construction manager for roads for the Swedish Transport Administration Investment, district West, unit 3. The role involves participating in road projects and supporting the project manager in planning, managing, and following up on investment projects from a constructability, safety, and work environment perspective. The construction manager also acts as support to the project management in contractual legal matters. The tasks are designed in consultation with the project managers, and if necessary, it also includes assisting other project units within Investment in the western region within the framework of the specified workload.

Responsibilities

Participate in cost management and cost control.

Support in the work with requirements management and control programs.

Transfer knowledge to employees at the Transport Administration regarding the tasks that the resource consultant performs for the Transport Administration.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important. B driver's license. At least 3 years of work experience as a construction manager or in a supervisory role such as production manager, site manager, or equivalent in construction/engineering projects within the relevant technical area (Road Construction Manager). The work experience should not be older than 10 years. Familiarity with laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area. At least 3 years of experience working along roads with an AADT of at least 2500. At least 2 years of work experience with work in quantity regulation systems MSS. At least 5 years of work experience as a construction manager or in a supervisory role. The work experience should not be older than 8 years. At least 3 years of work experience in contract follow-up of standard agreements within construction. Must have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U. Certification according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV, at least according to the requirements in step 3.0. At least 10 years of combined experience from infrastructure projects within construction.
