The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in the city of Mölndal. The administration has about 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and cleaning, water and recycling, city maintenance, and support and customer service.

Water and Recycling is a joint operational area that works for a sustainable future with reduced consumption and waste and with clean water in both taps and waterways. We do this by developing, maintaining, and improving waterworks and pipelines. With an increased circular mindset, we manage and handle waste for both households and businesses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and driven project manager in Water and Sewage for the Planning unit within the Water and Recycling operation. The unit's responsibility mainly involves strategic planning of recycling and waste, water and sewage, and sustainability.

As a project manager with us, you will lead and be responsible for the implementation of entire projects; from planning and procurement to handing over the completed facility to operations and maintenance.

Mainly, you will lead investment projects related to the renewal of pipelines as well as reinvestments in pumping stations and waterworks, among others, but also the development of investigations and development projects within the operation's operational responsibility is included in the position. You will be responsible for the progress of the projects and ensure that they are carried out according to set goals, budget, and with good results.

The assignment includes being the cohesive link regarding finances, timelines, work environment, documentation, information, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in civil engineering, water and wastewater, or another relevant field, or someone who has acquired competence and experience in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent.

We prefer that you have several years of experience working as a project manager in construction projects. It is also considered an advantage if you have knowledge of contract law, AMA, and project economics. Experience in strategic planning within water and sewage or a similar area is advantageous.

You will have many internal and external contacts, and therefore we see that you are communicative, self-driven, and can independently manage projects from the investigation phase to completed facilities. You are accustomed to working in a structured manner to achieve results and analyze complex issues.

We also see that you are curious and driven to work with a goal- and service-oriented approach and view digital tools and new technology as a natural part of effective work. You have good collaboration skills and are confident in leading meetings and dialogues with various stakeholders.

The position requires that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and have a B driver's license. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
