We are looking for a Sous Chef with a passion for flavor, quality, and leadership! As a Sous Chef with us, you will have overall responsibility for kitchen service during evenings and events at Marstrands Havshotell. You will ensure that guests receive a top-class dining experience, every evening, every time.

During certain periods, your main focus will be to ensure quality and delivery for all our external events. This will be done in close collaboration with the head chef and other members of the kitchen team.

Work operationally during evening service.

Ensure delivery, quality, and service at the highest level.

Lead, motivate, and support the kitchen team in the restaurant and at events.

Place orders and keep track of inventory and ingredients.

Be responsible for finding replacements during staff absences.

Collaborate closely with service and the head chef.

Is a confident, clear, and inspiring leader.

Has experience as a chef or sous chef in à la carte or event operations.

Has documented experience in kitchen leadership.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains quality under pressure.

Has a good understanding of flavor, quality, and presentation.

Has a B driver's license and speaks Swedish.

Creativity and innovation in the kitchen.

Experience with larger events and banquet halls.

Experience in scheduling and personnel planning.
