About the Role

As a Service Manager, you are the hub of the operation and responsible for the daily management of Carotte's concierge. Together with a receptionist, you run the reception and conference, collaborating closely with the lounge and the adjacent restaurant, which is also operated by Carotte.

The concierge serves as a bar, barista, and lounge reception, meaning the role is both varied and hands-on. You will welcome guests at the reception, brew espresso, serve pastries, handle sales, and create a vibrant environment. A lack of pretentiousness is crucial; everyone helps out where needed.

The role is both operational and development-oriented. You are present in the operations while also driving the development of service offerings, routines, workflows, and upselling to customers and tenants.

You are the face of the company for both guests and customers, ensuring that the experience maintains a high standard in every detail from the first contact to the end of the visit.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and develop the daily operations of reception, conference, and barception
• Ensure a warm, professional, and personal approach
• Work hands-on and operationally in the operations, including espresso, simple serving, and sales
• Work closely with the receptionist to create clear routines, structure, and quality in the delivery
• Be responsible for bookings, planning, and coordination of conferences and meetings
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers before, during, and after their stay
• Actively work with upselling related to conferences, meetings, lounge, and restaurant
• Coordinate events, meetings, and catering solutions
• Be the contact person for suppliers and partners
• Coordinate workflows between reception, conference, lounge, and restaurant
• Handle simpler administration related to operations, bookings, and follow-ups
• Contribute to a lively, safe, and professional environment where details make a difference

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident in a leading service role and combines hospitality with business acumen. You thrive in an operational role where you are on the floor, take responsibility, make decisions, and lead through presence.

You are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and see it as natural to sometimes stand at the bar, assist with serving, or solve practical tasks when needed. You preferably have barista skills and are comfortable with espresso and coffee machines.

We believe you have experience from similar roles within hotels, reception, conference, coworking, concierge, or other service operations. You are accustomed to upselling and see opportunities in customer interactions. You are structured, communicative, and have good administrative skills, but above all, a genuine interest in people and in creating experiences that exceed expectations.

• Employment: Permanent position with an initial probationary period
