HSB MälarDalarna is a regional HSB association with over 37,000 members and 378 housing cooperatives. We build and manage housing and offer technical and economic management to associations, municipalities, property companies, and public actors. With offices in Borlänge, Västerås, Örebro, and twelve local offices, we are close to our customers throughout Dalarna, Mälardalen, and Örebro County.

HSB MälarDalarna is looking for an engaged Customer and Contract Manager for our regional office in Örebro. The role involves business area responsibility for Örebro County and is an important part of developing and strengthening our customer relationships.

You will be part of our organizational unit Member & Sales, which consists of six people. The team includes two colleagues with the same position, responsible for Västmanland and Dalarna counties respectively.

About the role

As a Customer and Contract Manager at HSB MälarDalarna, you will have a key role with responsibility for the entire business within your business area. You will manage the entire chain regarding sales and contracts, from new customer acquisition and renegotiation to contract writing, as well as maintaining a good dialogue with both new and existing customers. You will be responsible for tender and contract reviews, and the work also includes calculations for tender submissions and registration and follow-up of activities in the CRM system. Customer meetings occur both during the day and in the evening according to your own planning.

You will collaborate with several internal interfaces such as energy, property maintenance, property management, economic management, etc.

The position requires a B driver's license.

Your main tasks:

  • Customer, contract, and documentation: Overall responsibility for all customers and contracts within the business area. Renegotiation of existing contracts, updating checklists and systems with information regarding customers, tenders, and contracts.
  • Sales and new customer acquisition: Drive the sales process to achieve set sales targets. Calculations, tender and contract reviews, and contract writing. Planning and execution of sales activities, e.g., fairs and cold calls. Schedule and participate in customer meetings (evening meetings may occur).
  • Relationships & Communication: Build long-term relationships with customers, members, and other stakeholders. Lead and maintain internal communication and collaboration regarding customers.
  • Analysis and risk assessment: Conduct analyses and risk assessments of existing customers and contracts according to applicable processes.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a university degree or equivalent, and a strong sales background.
  • Is financially knowledgeable and business-minded with experience in budget/result responsibility.
  • Is a good negotiator with a high level of service and the ability to create and maintain business relationships.
  • Is skilled at building and nurturing customer relationships, open and responsive to customer needs.
  • Is structured and meticulous with a good ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and lead processes forward.
  • Has a strong communicative ability both in speech and writing.
  • Has very good computer skills and an interest in digitalization.
  • Is proactive and enjoys working both independently and in a team.
  • Should have experience and knowledge of the real estate industry and housing cooperatives and/or experience working with commercial property clients.
  • Experience with or participation in public procurement is seen as a positive.
