We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Stiglötsgatan's nursing home in 2025. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on their strengths. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put!

Stiglötsgatan has 45 apartments distributed across five departments, four of which are focused on individuals with dementia. Each floor has a kitchen, dining room/living room, and balconies facing the facility's own garden. In the common areas, there are good opportunities for socializing, pleasant meals, and activities. The garden offers opportunities for outdoor activities and fresh air.

The Socialstyrelsen's user survey 2024 shows that 100% of the residents experience good treatment at Stiglötsgatan.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is highly meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: hourly employment

Duration: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis starting in February, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
