We are currently seeking three nursing assistants or care assistants for the Resource Team for care and nursing homes.

YOUR ROLE

As a nursing assistant or care assistant in the Resource Team, you will work at several different care and nursing homes, supporting the operations when needs change rapidly. You play an important role by covering for short-term absences and for temporary positions lasting up to two to three weeks where experience and competence are required.

Your work involves meeting individuals in their daily lives and providing both care and practical support. This can involve everything from assistance with personal hygiene and transfers to creating safety and structure for the individual. You always work with a rehabilitative approach, encouraging and strengthening the individual's own abilities to make everyday life as safe and meaningful as possible.

Your role also includes documenting, planning, and organizing daily work. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues, other resource persons, and relatives – because here we work mostly for others, but also for each other.

You will work weekends and evenings, but not to the same extent as other nursing assistants and care assistants.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with experience in care or a care assistant with solid experience in the field. You are accustomed to documenting and are comfortable working in different operational systems and using relevant digital tools. You also need to have a B driver's license and access to your own car, very good knowledge of Swedish both orally and in writing, as well as the physical prerequisites needed to perform the work.

To thrive in this role, you need to be confident in yourself and able to meet people in different situations with calm and professionalism. Since the work involves rapid changes and varying workplaces, it is important that you can easily adapt and quickly familiarize yourself with new routines and conditions.

It is an advantage if you can speak Finnish or Sami, and knowledge of sign language is also seen as an asset in our operations.

YOUR NEW WORKPLACE

Here you will become part of the social office's care and nursing department, which provides support to individuals throughout Skellefteå municipality. You will work closely with colleagues who, like you, want to contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for others. You will work weekends and evenings, but not to the same extent as other nursing assistants and care assistants. The work in the Resource Team is varied, developing, and important – for real.
