DJURSHOLM TENNIS CLUB IS LOOKING FOR A CAFÉ AND RECEPTION MANAGER

About the Club

Djursholm Tennis Club was founded in 1943, located in Danderyd municipality, about 20 minutes from Stockholm city, and is one of Sweden's largest tennis clubs with over 2,000 members. We offer 6 beautiful indoor courts and two clay courts by Djursholm Castle. Here, juniors and seniors play alongside recreational and competitive players of all ages. With a renovation in the summer of 2022, we have created one of Sweden's most pleasant tennis clubs, featuring a new service area that includes a reception, shop, and café, as well as an extension of a padel area with three courts. Since spring 2025, there is also a state-of-the-art gym in our premises operated by the club.

The café, shop, and reception are the hub of our operations and the face of our club to all who visit the hall.

About the Position and Role

As the manager, you will work closely with the club's staff and members. Your task is to ensure the daily operations run smoothly in the reception and café. You should be driven to develop the business and build for the future. You enjoy the craft of creating assortments and menus that fit while also being comfortable handling computers and answering all members' questions. Being organized and social with the customer's best interests in mind is a given. You are used to dealing with customers of all ages and thrive in that environment. The role includes work both during the day and evenings/weekends. Your immediate supervisor is the club manager.

We are looking for a person with the following profile

o Driven and passionate with experience from similar roles

o Professional and service-oriented in all situations

o Experienced in personnel responsibility and willing to train staff

o Responsible and organized

o Ideally with an interest in tennis or padel

o Knowledge of the craft and the ability to create winning menus and assortments

o Enjoys multitasking

o Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
