The County Operations Obstetrics/Gynecology consists of Maternity/Birth/Gyn department, gynecological clinic, and Specialist Maternal Care. In Sollefteå and Kramfors, the midwifery clinic is managed by County Operations Obstetrics/Gynecology. The county operations collaborate across the entire region, and within the organization, doctors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together.

Do you want to be part of a wonderful and secure work team with a varied job? Now, County Operations Obstetrics/Gynecology in Sollefteå/Kramfors is looking for a midwife for the midwifery clinic with an expanded assignment!

The position is a full-time temporary position until 2026-08-16. Start date is immediate, according to agreement.

Midwife for Midwifery Clinic with Expanded Assignment, Sollefteå

The work as a midwife with us consists of standard midwifery tasks, which include:

• Visits for pregnant women
• Parental education
• Gynecological cytology sampling
• Contraceptive counseling
• Telephone counseling

The expanded assignment includes:

• Early discharge activities including possible home visits
• Increased availability during pregnancy
• Delivery and postpartum care in the form of outpatient visits

We have a working method that provides expectant and new parents in Ådalen and the Western area with security and extended support, which is unique in the country and is continuously developed.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed midwife; those new to the role are welcome to apply
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience from operations with expanded assignments
