Within Region Västernorrland, there are three primary care areas; south, west, and north, where local collaboration occurs within/between municipalities, primary care, and specialist care. Together, we work to create a cohesive care chain for the growing patient groups of chronic and multi-sick individuals.

The Primary Care Area West has a hospital, five region-operated health centers, and Lifestyle Medicine Österåsen. The Primary Care Area West has about 300 employees and three department heads.

We are now looking for you who are a general practitioner. Right now, we are focusing on primary care physicians in our area, the Primary Care Area West. We want more people to choose a permanent position. With a targeted physician initiative in our western area, we aim for a listing of 1100 patients for permanently employed doctors in primary care based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. As a workplace, we are solution-focused and value good collaboration skills, a responsive and humble approach, and a commitment to development.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.

As a physician with us, you will assess, plan, treat, and follow up with your patients through interventions such as prescribing medications, writing certificates, and handling referrals. In addition to the ongoing daily work, several forms of lifestyle-oriented preventive work are ongoing. Supervision of doctors in training may also occur.

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed physician
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have work experience in primary care
