Production Manager at Malmö Arena

Malmö Arena is a state-of-the-art multi-arena - an obvious meeting place for concerts, sports, and large events. We are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to take responsibility for the technical production and contribute to ensuring that our events are of the highest standard. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement. A probationary period applies.

About the role

As a Production Manager, you are the hub of the technical production. You plan, lead, and follow up on all technical solutions – from stage construction to rigging – ensuring that everything is done safely, efficiently, and with high quality. You will be a central point of contact for both internal teams and external suppliers, having overall responsibility for resources, equipment, and budget.

Your responsibilities

• Production planning: Ensure that technical solutions and renovations are planned and executed correctly.
• Leadership: Lead and develop the production and renovation team, including scheduling and resource planning.
• Equipment & maintenance: Responsible for inventory, maintenance, and inspection of stage equipment and rigging.
• Quality & safety: Ensure that production follows safety regulations, ISO standards, and internal procedures.
• Finance: Keep track of costs and contribute to a profitable operation.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in technical production within events, arenas, or similar environments.
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and enjoys having many points of contact.
• Has a good technical understanding and preferably knowledge in CAD environments.
• Has the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Bonus: Knowledge of power calculations within the event industry is an advantage.
