About the Communication Section
The Communication Section, one of the ten sections of the University Administration, works to increase the university's visibility, attractiveness, and communicative ability. The section underwent a new organization on April 1 this year and consists of the departments of Research and External Communication, Internal Communication and Management Support, Student Communication and Marketing, as well as Web and Brand. The section has about 60 employees.
To meet a changing environment, Lund University needs to act faster and find new ways of working. Therefore, a quick-footed and professional communication function is needed to support the university's core activities: education, research, and collaboration. The last few years have also been characterized by strong development and expansion in digital services and communication. The Web and Brand department has thus received several new assignments with particular regard to user experiences and profiling. There is therefore an increased need for expertise that actively works with the development and follow-up of information flows as well as integrations and user experience. The position of Systems Specialist PIM is one way to meet this need.
