The Addiction Center Malmö (BCM) is part of the Adult Psychiatry Department in Malmö. We are an innovative and dynamic organization with highly engaged staff. The facility is one of the largest in the country in the field of addiction disorders.
We offer both outpatient and inpatient care for individuals with addiction issues. Our clinics cater to youth, individuals with comorbidities, alcohol and medication abuse, as well as drug dependence, with or without neuropsychiatric diagnoses. We also have accredited clinics for medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence (LARO). For individuals needing specialist assessment and care, we provide inpatient care, offering safe and qualified treatment for alcohol, drug, and medication dependence in a stable care environment.
Addiction Center Ward 2 is a care ward with 16 beds that provides inpatient care for patients with alcohol, medication, and drug dependence. Our patients often have complex needs, combining addiction, mental health issues, and somatic illness, which means that as a nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of health conditions and medical challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you will be offered a developing and stimulating work environment and the opportunity to influence and improve care for patients with addiction issues. You will be part of a strong and committed team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, psychologists, and social workers.
As a nurse, your responsibilities will include nursing work, medication management, sampling, health conversations, and establishing individual care plans.

The position is full-time with day and evening shifts, Monday to Friday, and every third weekend according to the schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Previous experience in addiction services or psychiatric care is an advantage for the position.
As a person, we are looking for someone who is responsible and independent. Additionally, you have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances and are patient-focused in your professional role. For us, it is natural that you want to contribute to continued good cooperation and a good work environment. Good collaboration skills are therefore a prerequisite for succeeding in the role. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Assistive devices are responsible for managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. Within the department, there are also vision, hearing, and deaf services and youth clinics in Skåne.
