A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a traveling technician for main components who wants a stimulating and varied job, where you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of wind turbines at our customers' wind farms on a rotational basis.

The rotation is 14/14 - 14 days on and 14 days off.

How You Will Make an Impact

In this role, you will primarily perform maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbines at all locations in the Nordic region, but mainly in Sweden. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge of electricity and mechanics to independently solve problems on-site to ensure high operational reliability and provide excellent service to our customers.

Other Responsibilities and Tasks

• A large part of the job is to ensure that work on-site is always performed with safety as the highest priority. For electrical work, we operate according to the Swedish electrical standard (SS-EN 50110-1).
• You will support our customers both remotely and on-site and will coordinate service operations and solutions. This includes implementing improvements and modifications.
• You are responsible for reporting and documenting your work, including monitoring, coordinating, and following up on work performed by subcontractors.
• Our employees' knowledge is important to us. Therefore, you will start with training at Siemens Gamesa's training center in Denmark as well as at various locations in Sweden.

What You Bring

A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change, but also:

• At least a high school education with a technical focus. Education in electricity, hydraulics, or mechanics is advantageous.
• Experience in wind power is a significant advantage.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Good computer skills.
