Your Responsibilities

As a strategist in environmental protection, you are an important part of the community building process in Norrköping municipality. Your work includes emergency preparedness, handling cases, and participating in various forums and projects of varying scope. You contribute with expertise and monitor issues related to water and contaminated land from a supervisory authority perspective within the community building process. The role requires you to approach your tasks with a strategic mindset focused on high service and quality.

In your work, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various actors where you represent the unit and the municipality. You will cooperate with other municipalities, authorities, and participate in various business and industry networks.

Who are you?

You have a bachelor's degree in environmental and health protection or another academic education that the employer deems relevant.

To have the right conditions to succeed in the role of strategist, we see that you have several years of experience in the field. Perhaps you have previous experience as an environmental and health protection inspector or other work related to current issues where you have built relevant experience over time. Furthermore, we see that you have experience in supervision and assessment related to contaminated land and water issues and are well-versed in the work of regulatory authority under the Environmental Code in the community building process.

To succeed and thrive in your role, you need to be confident in yourself, able to make and convey difficult decisions and stand by them. You communicate with your surroundings in a clear but humble manner.

You find it easy to collaborate and provide a professional response in all situations. Furthermore, you are meticulous, structured, and drive your work forward independently. As a strategist, you need to have the ability to see the big picture where quality permeates your work, and you are driven by development, digitization, and new ideas. The position may be placed in a security class.

We would like you to have a B driver's license.
