Job Description

Are you an experienced electrical technician or senior electrical assembler with deep knowledge in vehicle electrics? Then this position might be right for you!

Kalmar Motor AB is now looking for a senior electrical technician/electrical assembler who wants to work in an advanced, high-tech, and international environment. In this role, you will have clear technical responsibilities, working on customer projects and building customized machines based on drawings, in close collaboration with our designers.

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in electrical assembly – preferably with a strong focus on vehicle electrics – who can confidently take overall responsibility in complex projects. Experience in troubleshooting and/or control systems is highly meritorious.

As a senior electrical technician/electrical assembler, you will work with:

  • Manufacturing electrical harnesses based on drawing specifications
  • Assembly and construction of advanced electrical cabinets
  • Installation, connection, and wiring on our custom-built tractors
  • Troubleshooting in complex systems

Our machines are customer-specific and contain advanced electronics, computer systems, and electrical mechanics. Therefore, the role requires high technical competence, accuracy, and the ability to work independently. You will primarily collaborate with other assemblers, designers, and team leaders.

We offer you a full-time position with working hours scheduled on weekdays between 07:00-15:30. You will be employed by us at NearYou with good opportunities for the employment to transition to our customer after 6 months.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with solid experience in vehicle electrics and several years of background as an electrical technician or electrical assembler. You have experience in troubleshooting and have also worked with control systems.

You have a strong technical interest and thrive in advanced, high-tech environments where you can utilize both your theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

As a person, you are structured, quality-conscious, and have an easy time taking responsibility and driving work from start to finish. You are social, communicative, and collaborate well with both colleagues and external contacts.

To succeed in this role, you also need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
