The production site in Emmaboda is the largest within the Xylem Group, and we currently have around 1350 employees. Here, the manufacturing of pumps and mixers takes place, and the process includes all steps from casting to finished product. In addition to core production activities, the site also houses a distribution center, finance department, product development, IT, HR, and more.

Job Description

Our site in Emmaboda is organized according to functions in the manufacturing process. Each function specializes in parts of our processes, and complete manufacturing of our products takes place here. The responsibility covers the entire manufacturing process - from order to delivery.

We are looking for summer substitutes for several different operational areas with a wide variety of tasks, such as;

machining, assembly, foundry work, electric motor manufacturing, forklift drivers, production planning, logistics, and maintenance.

We are also looking for summer substitutes who want to work at our logistics center, where you can work with order processing, material handling, material supply, and transport planning.

Additionally, we are looking for summer substitutes for our administrative functions, such as the finance department.

Working hours may vary depending on placement, daytime or shifts.

Experience & Qualifications

We primarily seek those who are studying at high school, college, or university, or you may have relevant work experience. Applicants with relevant education for our operations will be prioritized. We do not require previous experience, but it can be advantageous depending on placement.

You must be at least 18 years old when the summer job starts.

We are looking for someone who finds production and technology exciting, is curious, eager to learn, and wants to see how the business operates.
