Ängelholm Municipality has approximately 3,500 employees and a total budget of 3.5 billion. The Procurement and Purchasing Unit drives the strategic development of procurement and purchasing activities within the municipal group and supports operations, including wholly-owned companies, during procurement. The Procurement and Purchasing Unit is part of the main assignment of the Municipal Management. The unit is also responsible for the municipality's e-commerce system. The municipality uses the procurement system e-Avrop and the e-commerce system Proceedo.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a procurement officer for construction with us, you will work in a role with significant responsibility for the entire purchasing process. Your focus will primarily be on procurements within construction and civil engineering, where you will drive the entire purchasing process according to LOU from needs analysis and market dialogue to contract writing and management. Other procurements of goods and services may also occur.

You will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and managers within the municipality's and companies' various operations. You are an important part of the municipality's work to create smart, sustainable, and legally secure business transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in construction procurement and/or good knowledge of the construction and civil engineering field.
• Experience in procurement according to LOU, preferably at least three years, but you may also be at the beginning of your career and have the right prerequisites to grow into the role.
• Post-secondary education in procurement, law, technology, economics, or equivalent competence acquired through experience.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• The ability to work systematically, build relationships, and manage multiple processes simultaneously.
• If you have worked in a municipality or other public sector, we see it as an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
