JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for our short-term department.

The position is a temporary full-time role that currently extends until August 31, with a possibility of extension.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with qualified care, daily support, and contribute to creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our individuals. You will work person-centered, based on each individual's needs and wishes.

The short-term department receives individuals who, after a hospital stay, are waiting to return home, individuals awaiting placement in special housing, as well as those in need of respite care, relief, or palliative interventions.

The work is characterized by a salutogenic approach where you support individuals' recovery, rehabilitation, and preparations for going home.

You will work closely with nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, care managers, physiotherapists, and your immediate supervisor.

The position includes daily documentation in accordance with applicable legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant.

Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as experience working in digital systems and using technical aids.

You convey calmness and security and can meet people in various situations in a professional manner.

Furthermore, it is important that you are engaged in your work. You have good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a group.

Since work in the short-term department sometimes involves rapid changes, we expect you to be flexible and maintain calm in demanding situations.
