Your mission

In the role of care assistant at Bergagården, you will provide our residents with good service, care, and support based on each individual's needs and wishes. To tailor the support you provide, you will focus on the resident's strengths and abilities. This also includes motivating and stimulating the resident to maintain their ability to participate and be independent. We work with an active contact person model where you have different representative roles. An important part of this is to collaborate with relatives to provide our residents with care of the highest quality. The job also includes medical care and documentation in the Lifecare journal system. Together, we strive to create a golden edge in the lives of our residents. At Bergagården, we work according to a schedule both day, evening, and every other weekend.

Your experience

To be considered for the position of care assistant with us, we see that you:

• are a trained care assistant with approved grades
• master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and have good reading comprehension
• have good computer skills
• have previous experience of working in healthcare

Strongly meritorious is:

• if you have previous experience working with BPSD and Senior Alert
• if you can establish implementation plans and document
• if you have previously had various delegations
• if you have previous experience with the Lifecare journal system

To be employed with the title of care assistant, you need to be able to present the protected professional title certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

About the workplace

Bergagården is a care and nursing home located in the eastern part of Eslöv, about a 15-minute walk from the station. Here, residents live in their own apartments spread over three floors. The facility is staffed around the clock and has close cooperation with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

At Bergagården, the staff works individually tailored to the needs of the residents. The care and support provided are characterized by good ethics with the goal that residents should retain their ability to perform tasks independently.
