Due to a longer absence, we are now looking for a temporary service technician for our Technical Unit. A unit responsible for: inspections, service, and repairs of vehicles throughout the federation, IT, material maintenance, and supply of materials to our fire stations, property management, warehouse management, etc.

About the position

Your main tasks involve maintenance and repairs of the emergency services' vehicles and equipment in our workshop at Nasta fire station. You will also perform vehicle inspections, vehicle transports, and simpler repairs/maintenance of other equipment.

In addition to these tasks, it may be necessary to assist with other tasks that fall within the unit's mission. No emergency response duty is included in the position.

Working hours

The position involves daytime work of 40 hours per week.

We apply flexible working hours and offer a paid exercise hour during working time.

Location

The main location of the position is Örebro, but you will have the entire Nerikes Fire Brigade as your work area.

Qualifications

To be eligible, you must have at least a high school education, preferably in technology or vehicles. You must have a driving license at least B C, and BE is desirable.

Work experience in technology and/or maintenance as well as relevant education and/or work experience from emergency services is desirable but not required. It is also preferable if you have previously worked as a mechanic in the automotive industry or similar.

Employment form and start date

Temporary position for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Start date by agreement.
