HLR Organizer/Nurse at KTC in Skellefteå

The Department for Research, Education, and Innovation (FoUI) leads, initiates, and follows up the region's engagement in matters concerning research, education, innovation, and knowledge management. The department's mission includes driving and participating in the region's development to achieve the goals within its areas of responsibility. The department consists of seven units.

The Unit for Education and Knowledge Development works on quality development of lifelong learning conducted in healthcare for health and medical care students and employees. The unit includes the Region's Clinical Training Center (KTC), which is a county clinic with operations in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå.

We are now looking for an HLR Organizer/Nurse for KTC in Skellefteå.

You will join a small workgroup where everyone is driven and highly engaged, with each member being an expert in their field. You will experience a trust-based leadership and strong employee engagement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an HLR Organizer/Nurse with us, you will create conditions for collaboration, new knowledge, and a strong future.

In your role, you will promote high patient safety and enhance employee security through competency development for the region's staff.

Together with other HLR organizers, you will help develop the HLR organization regarding educational activities and work towards a well-functioning cardiac arrest flow.

A significant part of your mission will be to educate and develop HLR instructors in the operations. You will also be responsible for follow-ups in the national quality register, the Swedish Cardiac Arrest Register. Together with other colleagues at KTC, you are expected to initiate and participate in other competency-enhancing educational efforts for the region's employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, you need to be a licensed nurse with at least 2 years of experience in emergency care. You should be a trained, active HLR instructor at least at the S-HLR (medical HLR) level with experience in training various personnel categories. We prefer that you are the lead instructor in S-HLR or an instructor in A-HLR (advanced HLR). Instructor competence in simulation and team training is also desirable.

The position is 40% and can be combined with other duties.
