Geråshus is located in scenic surroundings right next to Gärdsås square in Bergsjön. Geråshus Care and Nursing Home consists of two buildings connected in the middle by a glassed room. Here, there are units for somatic care and for residents with dementia. In total, the facility has 102 apartments.

You will work according to the national value framework and from a salutogenic approach. In your role, you will plan your day based on the needs of the organization. The focus is on providing support and guidance to staff at the care and nursing home in their daily work, as well as with long-term development. This may involve supervising complex cases that involve residents, relatives, and contact staff. It may also involve enhancing competence in working with implementation plans or social documentation. Through your network and conversations with various professionals, you have the opportunity to identify and suggest training initiatives.

You will work alongside a care supervisor at the facility and be part of our network for care supervisors in nursing homes in the Northeast. Your primary tasks will be directed towards somatics, but you will have close collaboration with your care supervisor colleague.

We offer you an attractive role where you can contribute your knowledge and expertise. Together, we work to develop the quality of the care and nursing home and strengthen the status of nursing assistants. Your working hours are weekdays during the day, but evenings and weekends may also occur. The workweeks are 40 hours, and you have the right to flexible hours.

Qualifications

You need to have

• Vocational training with at least 200 YH credits in care and nursing or a university degree that the employer deems relevant for the position
• Experience in care and nursing work as well as experience in supervising groups and individuals
• Well-grounded in the salutogenic approach and the national value framework
• Good computer skills for documentation and deviation management in various IT systems, as well as good Swedish language skills both orally and in writing
