A day in the life with us!

We are currently looking for a mechanic who wants to work with us in our fully automated factory where we manufacture wardrobes and shelves. Right now, we are on a development journey where we aim to increase our production from 3 million to 6 million wardrobes per year. As a mechanic, your task is to create a reliable operation and high availability in this high-tech factory through support, maintenance, and optimization. Our facility is modern, impressive, and unique, offering enormous opportunities for development in technology/maintenance across the board.

The position is primarily daytime, but since shift work is applied, shift work may occur in this role. The maintenance department works flexibly, which means that some elements of property maintenance and warehouse work may occur for shorter periods.

So who are you?

Together, Simplicity, and Responsibility are examples of our values, which means that you are unpretentious, proactive, and driven to learn new things that generate even better ways of working tomorrow. We appreciate that you easily share your knowledge and constantly seek new insights.

At IKEA Industry Hultsfred, we do things together and know that good results come when we unite and help each other. This means that you are stimulated by sharing your experiences in different constellations to find the best solution moving forward. With curiosity, humility, and precision, we create order and structure to maintain a stable and safe process and workplace.

Your profile:

- You have good experience as an industrial mechanic and preferably a high school education with a focus on workshop or automotive.

- You need to have good knowledge and experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, and robot handling.

- You have a good understanding of troubleshooting techniques, and repair within machine mechanics is an advantage.

- You are proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish at a good level.
