Our client is a growing forestry and biofuel company. The client is an established company with over 50 employees and a clear growth journey, where sustainability, innovation, and long-term thinking are at the center. In 2024, the company entered a new partnership and has since strengthened its position further through both capital and expertise – with the ambition to become a leading player in modern, efficient, and responsible forest production.

The position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client.

About the position

In the role of harvester operator, you will work with thinning, final felling, and other types of logging assignments. The work is primarily carried out in the Stockholm region but also in other locations as needed. You will collaborate closely with production management and other operators to create efficient workflows and a safe working environment.

The role also includes daily service and minor maintenance of the machines, such as chain replacements, lubrication, and minor adjustments. You will thrive here if you enjoy working outdoors in the forest, take responsibility for your work, and want to contribute to a sustainable and quality-driven operation.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience operating a harvester 
• Has good machine skills and understanding of forest production
• Is responsible, self-driven, and meticulous
• Has the ability to perform minor mechanical work and solve problems in the field
• Enjoys working shifts and collaborating with other operators

Meritorious:

• Experience operating both harvesters and forwarders
• Forestry education or equivalent experience
• Ability to work across central Sweden and stay away when necessary
