The Workplace

As a skilled worker/caretaker, you will be part of the team at the operations unit. There are twelve employees working with various tasks, led by the operations manager. The positions are based at the operations center.

The Role and Responsibilities

As a skilled worker/caretaker, you will work with support, maintenance, and service related to our green areas, forestry, premises, equipment, and properties based on the needs of the operations. As a skilled worker/caretaker, you are an important player in the municipality's service to citizens and associations.

The work includes tasks such as:

• Representing the facility outward and conveying the needs that exist.
• Green area work and forestry with various types of machines.
• Maintenance of the municipality's outdoor environments, green areas, schoolyards, and properties.
• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and minor repairs of premises and inventory, addressing faults and deficiencies, and being the contact person for property, cleaning, and other external partners.
• Maintenance and repairs of machines.
• Operational development and coordination of activities in the hall.
• Participating in workplace safety work, e.g., during safety rounds and systematic fire protection work (SBA).
• Maintenance of the municipality's outdoor environments, green areas, schoolyards, and properties.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with education in property management, construction, and civil engineering, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Basic IT skills and good physical condition are prerequisites for the job.

A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required.

Meritorious for the job are;

• Knowledge and experience from similar work, including property and green area maintenance
• Brush cutter certification and chainsaw certification A B are advantageous
• Certification for wheel loaders, professional certificate or equivalent
• Education as a gardener or equivalent

Employment

3 positions, each 100%. Start date according to agreement.

Two of the positions have working hours Monday-Friday during the day, and one position with varied working hours based on the season (partly at Norrskenshallen).

Other

On-call duty may be included in the position.
