We are looking for you who want to work as a lift attendant in Vitbergsbacken – a fun and important job where you get to be outdoors, meet happy skiers, and ensure everything runs smoothly on the slopes. Perfect for those who enjoy taking responsibility, working in a team, and having fun at work.

YOUR ROLE

As a lift attendant, you are part of the team that ensures the lift operates as it should. You assist visitors with the lift, monitor safety, and make sure everyone feels secure and welcome. You work outdoors in the snow, and the weather can vary – but with the right clothing and attitude, it becomes part of the adventure. You collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, and together you make the slopes a safe and pleasant place for everyone.

Your role also includes other important tasks such as selling lift tickets, managing the sledding hill and conveyor belt (including snow shoveling), replenishing firewood, and keeping the grill areas and other common spaces clean and tidy. You will also be responsible for publishing and updating content on our social media to spread joy and information to our visitors.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

You need to be at least 18 years old and have a snowmobile license – this is a must. Previous experience in service is a plus, as is experience in safety work or knowledge of CPR. But most importantly, you should be someone who enjoys taking responsibility, remains stable even when it gets busy, and has an easy time collaborating with others.

Since the tasks involve assisting visitors on the lift, shoveling snow, carrying firewood, and similar activities, you need to have good physical ability to perform the work safely and effectively.

You will be working with children under 18 years old, which means you need to present a valid extract from the criminal record. Two kilometers north of Skellefteå center, you will find Vitbergsbacken – a popular winter destination directly adjacent to Skellefteå Camping and the Ski Stadium. Here you will find two lifts, several slopes, a children's slope with a conveyor belt, and a beloved Fun-park with jumps and rails. A new feature this year is two new slopes!
