WE WANT SWEDEN'S HAPPIEST CITIZENS. ARE YOU WITH US?

In the municipality of Flen, we are committed to building something sustainable. A community where people thrive, grow, and stay. Our new and bold vision, Flen – Sweden's happiest municipality, is more than just words. It is a direction we have chosen together and a reminder of who we are here for. In every interaction with a resident, in every decision we make, in every day we shape – we will think with our hearts. And it starts with us. We are now looking for a group leader for the HSL operations, which is a relatively new position in our organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The healthcare sector is on an exciting journey of change, and we are looking for someone who wants to help lead the operations strategically into the future together with the unit manager and colleagues.

As a group leader, you will be an important link in our operations where you work closely with the unit manager, the medically responsible nurse (MAS), as well as both licensed and other staff. The role is primarily leadership and strategic, focusing on developing and improving care rather than working clinically.

You will have overall responsibility for driving development forward with a focus on quality and patient safety. You will also be involved in the reception and introduction of new employees, support in investigations of deviations, and conduct training for both licensed and care staff. You will also be an important support to your immediate manager and will participate in collaboration groups for the region.

With us, you can influence, make a difference, and create a workday that energizes you – and your new team looks forward to welcoming you to shape safe and qualitative care together.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU NEED TO:

  • Be a licensed nurse with extensive experience in municipal healthcare.
  • Have worked with and enjoy driving development work.
  • Have a good ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Have experience in environmental monitoring.
  • Have a valid driver's license (B).
  • Have good computer skills.
  • Master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.

WE VALUE HIGHLY

  • That you are a district nurse or specialized in elderly care.
  • That you have leadership experience.

YOUR PERSONAL QUALITIES

We believe you are a flexible and driven person, with the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges. You have good pedagogical skills, which means you can convey complex information clearly and understandably. Additionally, you are a structured person who can analyze information and draw conclusions logically. An outward-looking attitude is also important to us. Through your combination of flexibility, drive, and analytical ability, you will be an asset to our organization and contribute to achieving our goals.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

WHY WORK WITH US?

In the municipality of Flen, we want to give you good conditions to thrive both at work and outside of it. We offer, among other things, vacation exchange, wellness grants, and reimbursement for patient fees up to high-cost protection – and there are more benefits than that. Many of our workplaces also have good commuting opportunities.

READY TO APPLY?

We recruit based on competence, and therefore use selection questions instead of a personal letter. Your answers to the questions are an important part of our selection work— please take a little extra time when answering them.

Applications and interviews are handled continuously during the recruitment process.

  • Full-time, permanent.
  • We apply probationary employment in some cases.
  • Start date according to agreement.
  • Individual salary setting.
  • We need your application by: 251214.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this by showing a passport, international ID card, or personal certificate along with a valid ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you need to show that you have a valid work permit – or that you are exempt from the work permit requirement. Employment can only take place after we have checked the work permit, in accordance with the Aliens Ordinance.

Union representatives can be reached via the Contact Center: 0157- 43 00 00

NOTE! If you have protected personal information, do not submit your application via our system. Please contact the municipality's website or the Contact Center for instructions.

Warm welcome to Flen!
