We are looking for a Specialist Physician in General Medicine for our fine clinic
About us:
Djursholms Family Medicine Clinic offers you a workplace close to both colleagues, patients, and decisions.
With us, you will have a stimulating role with ample room for clinical work, continuity, and development. We are a small and personal health center with a strong team where collaboration and joy at work are at the center.
With close engaged leadership, a stable staff group, and a focus on patient continuity, we are a well-functioning unit with a forward-looking spirit.
What makes the position unique is the combination of the security and flexibility of a small context, along with the strength of belonging to a larger healthcare cluster. You will work in Djursholm but in close collaboration with Stocksund and Danderyd health centers – creating collegial exchange, coordination, and opportunities for joint development.
The short decision-making paths of a small workplace give you the opportunity to influence your work. We value and see the strength in our employees, which creates engagement and drive. Together with other professional groups, we work interprofessionally and often find new ways of working. We improve and develop our working methods based on quality indicators. You can read more about us at Djursholms Health Center.
We care about a good balance between work and private life.
About the position:
As a general specialist with us, you will work with regular tasks within primary care: outpatient work, medical assessment, follow-up, rehabilitation, and preventive care. You will meet a wide spectrum of patients and work independently as well as in a team. Your work includes both acute primary care patients and scheduled visits. We also expect you to actively contribute to relationship-building care and establish long-term healthcare contacts with the residents in the area.
You will be responsible for a defined patient list and have overall responsibility for your patients. The work is done in close cooperation with district nurses and other professionals in the team. You will actively participate in the health center's quality work and have the opportunity to influence routines, working methods, and the development of the business. We value good educational quality for students and training physicians. Supervision is included in the assignment as a specialist in general medicine with us.
The goal of the position is to provide continuous, safe, and accessible care with high medical quality. We strive for a work environment that allows you to use your full competence – where both patients and staff stay for a long time. You contribute to shaping the future of primary care where collaboration, proximity, and person-centeredness are in focus.
Qualifications:
Specialist physician in general medicine with authorization to operate within Swedish healthcare. Experience as a qualified specialist and having worked in Swedish healthcare, preferably primary care, is meritorious. Experience with the TakeCare journal system is also meritorious.
Personal qualities:
We place great importance on professional treatment of both patients and employees. Planning and coordination are familiar concepts for you, and you are comfortable working independently and making your own decisions. Qualities that are good to have in this position are responsiveness, flexibility, and innovative thinking.
A good and respectful approach to patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as the ability to share knowledge and information, is of utmost importance. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment form:
Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
Other information:
We will continuously review applications and may call for interviews before the application deadline.
Welcome with your application! The position will be filled on the condition that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:
- background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
