About the position

As an engineer focusing on site follow-up, you will work directly at the heart of production. You will play a crucial role in the daily management and quality work of the project. The role involves both practical work on the construction site and structured documentation work. You will follow up on work tasks, ensure that the execution is done according to drawings and regulations, and contribute to the project being driven forward in a safe and efficient manner.

You will work closely with the site manager, foreman, and other specialists, acting as a link between design and production. Your expertise is essential to ensure correct technical execution, especially in concrete work.

Examples of tasks

• Daily follow-up of production regarding quality
• Control and documentation of work tasks, with a particular focus on concrete
• Control of self-checks, deviations, measurement data, and material handling
• Ongoing dialogue with your colleagues in construction management and designers
• Ensuring that work tasks are performed in accordance with applicable standards, AMA, and construction documents
• Active participation in safety work, safety rounds, and risk assessments

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who is confident in their engineering role and appreciates working in a structured manner in a day-to-day environment that can be both intense and dynamic. To succeed in this position, you need to have a good technical understanding and an analytical approach.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in construction, civil engineering, or equivalent experience
• Class 1 competence in concrete
• Good ability to read and understand models and technical descriptions
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Familiar with digital documentation

Meritorious:

• Experience in construction production, preferably in artistic buildings
• Experience in follow-up, quality assurance, or work management
• Understanding of the various stages of the construction process

Working hours

This position is scheduled for afternoon shifts, which means you will play an important role in ensuring handover and continuity between shifts.
