Who are we looking for?



Qualifications for the position;



  • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent, and at least 5 years of industrial experience.
  • Experience working in project form, preferably as a technical lead or delivery responsible.
  • Deep knowledge in process design and a good understanding of mechanics, automation, facility construction, electrical engineering, and instrumentation.
  • Experience with digital tools in production and an interest in digitalization and automation.

The following experiences and skills are advantageous:



  • Experience in driving or participating in technical projects related to modifications and renovations in the process industry.
  • A background as a facility specialist focusing on automation, processes, or instrumentation.
  • Experience in specific areas such as ATEX classification, HazOps, and risk assessments or similar.

We are looking for someone with solid experience from the process industry, preferably with experience from several segments and disciplines such as process design, mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation, and construction. You are curious, solution-oriented, and take initiative. Previously, you have led technical projects as a project manager or technical/design lead with responsibility for deliveries, quality, and results, as well as experience in optimizing and automating processes.



What does the role entail?



  • Feasibility studies, requirements specification, and procurement – evaluate and specify needs and support procurement processes.
  • Sizing and design of process engineering objects and facilities.
  • Process engineering application of materials and heat balances for optimization and efficiency.
  • Technical purchases on the client side in close collaboration with production and users.
  • Project/delivery management – drive technical projects from idea to delivery.
  • Mentorship – support and share knowledge with colleagues.

You will work in a central position where collaboration with clients, colleagues, and suppliers is a natural and stimulating part of everyday life. You will lead and participate in the sizing and optimization of process engineering facilities and tackle assignments that require curiosity, problem-solving, and sharp analysis. The projects are varied, providing you with opportunities for continuous development and contributing to solutions that shape the future together with experienced colleagues. Plantvision has offices in several locations in Sweden, and you have the opportunity to be placed at the office that suits you best. This is a direct recruitment with immediate start or by agreement with an initial probationary period. The position is a full-time job of 40 hours per week. Interested?
