Specialist Physician in Neuropsychiatry

Job Description

As a specialist physician with us, your main tasks will be neuropsychiatric assessments and pharmacological treatment of children and adolescents according to national guidelines and BUP's process maps. Assessments and pharmacological treatments are carried out in close collaboration with our experienced psychologists and nurses.

You are part of a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the ongoing development work of the organization. Collaboration with healthcare neighbors and partners within and outside the organization is an important part of the development work.

There is an opportunity for remote work with administrative tasks/remote contacts if the business allows, corresponding to about one day a week.

As a specialist physician within BUP Stockholm, you will be part of the on-call line, after the usual introduction.

Qualifications

You who are applying should be a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry, alternatively a pediatrician or a specialist physician in general psychiatry with experience in the target group of children and adolescents. Experience from child psychiatric outpatient care or pediatric medical clinics, as well as familiarity with evidence-based and patient-centered work, is meritorious.

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents from 0 to 17 years within the Stockholm region. We are part of the Stockholm County Council's healthcare area, which is a provider within Region Stockholm. The position will be filled provided that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
