Project Engineer for the Future Energy Infrastructure

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a project engineer, you will work on construction projects within our client's extensive investment program. You will be responsible for independently planning, leading, managing, and following up on delegated areas from the project manager, focusing on the project's economy and administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Financial follow-up and work with project economics.
  • Support project managers with administrative tasks such as writing minutes and scheduling meetings.
  • Administer the project's risk management.
  • Compile and report project status regarding results, timelines, and budgets.
  • Support the project manager in following up on project dependencies and interfaces.
  • Ensure that the project is documented according to applicable structure, guidelines, and TR.
  • Act as a contact person for documentation issues with the contractor's documentation manager and drive the review process.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Have an academic university or college degree in engineering.
  • Have completed ESA training according to industry standards, at least ESA instructed. Course certificate must be attached.
  • Have at least 1 year of work experience in project work within infrastructure/construction/industry/facility.
  • Have at least 6 months of work experience in budget, forecasting, and financial follow-up.
  • Have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

It is a merit if you have:

  • Advanced experience as a project engineer/administrator in large, complex infrastructure projects (budget > 200 MSEK, timeline > 3 years).
  • Basic knowledge of contract law (e.g., AB04 and ABT06).
  • Advanced experience in supplier follow-up, including financial follow-up and change management in large infrastructure projects.
