About us

Welcome to Segeltorp Health Center – a region-driven health center that stands for close care, security, and quality, without profit interest. We are located in a charming, older villa area in Huddinge municipality, just 5 minutes by bus from Fruängen.

With us, you will meet patients of all ages, from small children to the elderly with complex care needs. The health center has about 7,300 registered patients, many of whom are elderly, and here you will meet a stable and well-knit staff group of about 25 people: specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, geriatricians, nurses, district nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, nursing assistants, REKO, and medical secretaries.

Many of us have worked here for a long time and are proud of the care we provide. Now we want to expand our medical staffing to continue developing close care and meet the increasing needs of our patients.

Job responsibilities

You will perform all common tasks for junior doctors at the health center, under supervision. We have a well-functioning mentoring program and regular doctor meetings with patient cases and training. Schedules are adapted to needs, and the introduction is tailored to give you a secure start.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in primary care who is proactive, creative, and solution-oriented. You enjoy meeting patients from diverse backgrounds and needs, are flexible, and have good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree as a doctor.
• Experience from a health center is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Employment form

Temporary employment. Employment rate 100%.

The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County healthcare area:

• background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
