Job Description

Your duties will include:

Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers.

Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Source and procure equipment and materials in accordance with project specifications and production requirements.

Evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Communication within a Team Environment

Analyse price and data

Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Track and expedite orders to meet production and project timelines.

Resolve issues related to shortages, overages, or quality discrepancies.

Skills and Requirements

Electrically biased buyer on large scale construction projects based in Sweden.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a purchasing/buying role required - full training of in-house procedures/systems will be provided.

Engineering experience advantageous but not essential.

Knowledge of / experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.

Relevant 3rd level qualification – in procurement required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.

Excellent IT skills essential - knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
