Team Leader in Electrical and Contact Line

Strukton Rail is starting a new department for periodic inspections of the facilities' electrical systems - "Elpeba" - and is therefore looking for a driven Team Leader in Electrical and Contact Line.

The position involves coordinating personnel as well as having overall responsibility for planning, follow-up, and finances within your area. Here you will have the chance to help shape the department and be involved in driving future collaboration with maintenance contracts in District Mitt, as well as with other parts of the company. The work will take place throughout District Mitt but may also occur in other parts of Sweden. The position is a permanent employment with placement either at one of our local offices in the district or working from home. Primarily, work is during the day, but night and weekend work as well as on-call duties and travel may occur.

Job Description:

As a team leader, you are responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and following up on the daily work in consultation with the site manager. You have a number of technicians in your team, where your role involves everything from motivating and developing them to being responsible for their work environment and safety. As a leader, you lead by example, are present, and see the value in working together as a team. You are unpretentious and do not shy away from a challenge.

Who are you?

For the role of team leader, we see that you have a high school education in electrical engineering, or another equivalent education. Perhaps you are currently working as a technician in electrical or contact line, with qualifications such as a connection leader, and are curious about working in leadership. Or you have previously worked in a leading role in electrical and have a burning interest in technology. We welcome experience from other industries, experience from the railway industry and/or maintenance projects is an advantage.

A team leader at Strukton Rail is brave, engaged, and communicative and acts as a role model. We also see that you have a structured way of working, are used to planning with many different contacts, and are interested in developing employees as well as yourself. The role includes some administrative tasks, so you should also be a proficient computer user.

A job in a track environment has special safety requirements, therefore it is required that you speak fluent Swedish. A driver's license (B) is a requirement, and it is an advantage if you have additional driving license qualifications. To ensure the special health requirements for safety work on the railway, a health examination will be conducted before employment.
