Job Responsibilities

As a junior doctor in pediatrics, you will work with standard tasks at our pediatric and adolescent clinic. You will also be part of the on-call service. Together, we will set up a training program for you as a junior doctor, and the clinic actively works with supervision and regular evaluation of your personal development.

About the Workplace

The vision of the Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic is to provide the best possible healthcare for children, adolescents, and their families in an environment characterized by play, joy, participation, and safety. The Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic in Halland is a regional clinic that offers inpatient and outpatient care at Halland Hospital Halmstad and outpatient care at the clinics in Kungsbacka, Varberg, and Falkenberg.

The delivery units in Halland are located in Varberg and Halmstad. We are a research-active pediatric clinic in a small personal format, with short distances to colleagues who together cover all subspecialties. The Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic investigates and treats children and adolescents aged 0-17 years with pediatric diseases such as allergies, asthma, gastrointestinal diseases, neurological diseases, heart diseases, hormonal disorders, cancer, rheumatic diseases, etc. The neonatal department cares for sick newborns and premature infants.

We work to ensure that both patients and staff feel good!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician, with completed/approved AT or BT being a requirement. You have a great interest in pediatrics and a desire to develop knowledge and competencies in this field. Previous experience working in pediatric clinics is an advantage. You are responsible and have the ability to collaborate as well as work independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
