About the Role

We are looking for an engineer who wants to work with some of the most advanced control systems in the aviation industry. The role involves developing and optimizing control laws for our aircraft – how the aircraft should behave in different situations. You will work with design, calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure that the systems meet high performance and safety requirements.

The Work Includes:

Development of requirements and design solutions.
Calculations and analyses of the control system's behavior.
Simulations and evaluations in both desktop environments and simulators.
Investigations based on error reports.
Contact points with pilots and other technical areas to verify functionality.

This is a complex and aviation-specific role that requires deep expertise in control and regulation technology, analytical skills, and system understanding. You will work in a highly competent team where you have both your own responsibilities and close collaboration with colleagues.

Analytical and meticulous with strong problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirements

Master's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on control and regulation technology.
Deep knowledge in control and regulation technology.
Several years of experience working with control and regulation technology.
Experience with simulation and design tools, such as Simulink.
Ability to write and understand technical reports.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Meritorious

Strongly meritorious if you have a pilot's license.
Experience from the aviation industry.
Experience in software development or software testing.
Master's or doctoral degree in control and regulation technology.
Knowledge in system safety.
